Barry Windows Media Player Skin

Introduction: This skin has been created for Windows Media Player 7.0 and above. I've no idea what happens if you try it with an earlier version, I'm afraid. (Frankly, I barely know what happens with this one - it's the first I've done!!) The goggles will display whatever visualisation you've got set and the wings will retract when you click the symbols on Barry's anorak. The white space is actually all transparent, but it made it easier to see if I captured it against white.

If you don't know which version of Windows Media Player you're running, check the option Help --> About. This skin only works when the Media Player is in the small mode.

The main graphics were scanned from a web-based Barry I found, but the microlight, goggles and 'tash are my own work. The reason I went down this route is that I based the skin on an existing one. It made a lot more sense to work within the strictures of the existing skin rather than blundering around randomly and I think it turned out OK. I did all the graphics tomfoolery with Adobe Photoshop 6.0.

Obviously, the copyright for the original artwork remains with Marillion, and this is repeated in the readme file. I've also cleared it with Lucy Jordache, Marillion's Marketing and Communications Manager that I can distribute these skins. Feel free to pass them about where you please, as long as you retain the original readme with it.

I have spent quite a lot of time doing this, so I'd come in my pants with joy if you would be kind enough to sign my guestbook and just leave a quick comment. Preferably an insult free one...

Left Click the ZIP icon below, and choose 'Save Target As' to download the file. Save it into the Skins directory for Windows Media Player (prob C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\Skins) then on the main screen select the skins options and it should be obvious from there
